Privacy Policy

Effective November 1, 2026

Cineica collects nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. Your photos and everything about them stay on your iPhone.

Camera

Cineica uses the camera to take photos. Each photo is developed on your iPhone and is never uploaded anywhere.

Photo library

Cineica saves your photos to your Photos library. If you choose to import, it reads the RAW photos you pick from your library so it can apply the look. This happens on your iPhone only.

Location

Location access is optional. If you allow it, Cineica writes where each photo was taken into that photo's own metadata, the same way the built-in Camera app does. The location is never sent to us or to anyone else. You can turn it off at any time in Settings.

Purchases

Any purchase is handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, email address or payment details.

What we don't do

Cineica has no servers that receive your data, no third party SDKs, no crash reporters and no advertising identifiers. We don't sell data because we don't have any.

Children

Cineica is not directed at children and does not collect data from anyone.

Changes

If Cineica's privacy behavior ever changes, this page and its effective date will be updated before the change ships.
